Canada’s housing affordability crisis is bad and getting worse. There is no one explanation, but rather a confluence of poor policy choices. But if this crisis was caused by policy missteps and a lack of foresight, it will ultimately be solved by decisions that will remove barriers to building and support Canadians finding a place they can call home.
